The Gardens at Summerlin
The Gardens at Summerlin
is a 410-acre mixed-use residential and commercial village with a garden-like setting. Its mix of single- and multi-family residential neighborhoods is grouped around a central loop road and park with retail and employment centers located nearby along Desert Inn Road and the Western Beltway.
Alexander Dawson School at Las Vegas, a private school offering a rigorous traditional liberal arts program for kindergarten to grade 8 calls The Gardens home.
The 20-acre Gardens Park is the core of the village and is divided into three distinct areas: an active play area that features court games such as basketball and tennis; a community center area with community gardens and facilities for passive adult uses, such as horseshoes, bocce and shuffleboard; and a large open lawn area that can be used for organized events or informal activities.
The Gardens Village Center
, a neighborhood shopping center, is being planned for the northeast corner of the Beltway and Town Center Drive and is expected to offer a grocery and drug store, gas station and convenience store, and retail shops as well as fast-food restaurants.
The Gardens is also the future home of Red Rock Community Church.
