The Arbors at Summerlin

The Arbors' higher elevation in Summerlin delivers unparalleled city views. Stretching across nearly 1,300 acres, The Arbors is a mixed-use residential village that includes single- and multi-family home neighborhoods.

The village is home to several schools: Palo Verde High School and the Bob and Sandy Miller High Tech Center at Summerlin - a mini campus of the Community College of Southern Nevada, Sig Rogich Middle School and Ethel L. Staton Elementary School. Creative Kids daycare center is also located in The Arbors.

The Arbors Tennis and Play Park features five outdoor lighted tennis courts (including a stadium court) with a pro shop and a lighted basketball court as well as "Arborville," a unique play area with a toddler tricycle track. The Arbors Sports Park is a joint-use educational and community recreation complex and sports park that features an Olympic-sized swimming pool that is owned and operated by the City of Las Vegas, as well as numerous sport fields to augment those that already exist on the Palo Verde High School campus. Tree Top Park in The Arbors features T-ball fields, a picnic pavilion and children's play area. All of these parks are linked by Arbors Paseo Park, a linear park featuring walkways, grassy areas and shaded seating areas.

The Veterans Memorial Leisure Services - Community Center is a 45,000 square foot recreation and cultural facility adjacent to Palo Verde in The Arbors and is the first city-owned and operated community center in Summerlin. The Center's amenities include a 20,0000 square feet of classroom and workshop space, a full-court gym, fitness area with cardiovascular and strength equipment, a dance/aerobics area, game room, and play room.

There are five worship sites in The Arbors: Desert Spring United Methodist Church and the Valley's first Hindu Temple and Cultural Center as well as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Two additional houses of worship are planned: New Hope Lutheran Church, and Church of Nazarene Harvest.
