Sun City at Summerlin

Sun City Summerlin, developed by Del Webb Communities, Inc., was completed in 1999 as an age-restricted active adult community for adults 55 years of age and older. Sun City is home to 14,000 residents and includes three 18-hole golf courses, four major community centers offering a variety of recreational amenities, retail centers and worship sites.

This established community for people 55+ is nestled up against the Spring Mountains in the Northwest section of Las Vegas.  It has four large and beautiful private community centers for residents, plus 2 large indoor and 3 outdoor pools, a theater, a billiard room, dozens of special interest and activity clubs, fitness centers, three golf courses, walking trails, tennis courts, bocci courts and views that will take your breath away. This is definitely a retirement community for very active people.

Architecturally, the inspiration is contemporary Spanish style: pastel single story homes with red tile roofs.  Many homes have desert landscaping for ease of upkeep.  Only one-story resale homes, ranging from about 1000 sq. ft. to over 2500 sq. are available now in Sun City Summerlin and most of them are 2 bedroom homes.
